Composer
Hélène is an international award-winning composer, recently cited among the 30 under 30 by the Forbes magazine. Her work is driven by a desire to create conversations between arts and cultures, exploring timbre as a meeting point between worlds.
Hélène grew up studying classical piano and composition in French conservatories, and studying traditional music in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Her inspiration comes from her many travels and exploration of music from everywhere in the world, she’s passionate about mixing new sonorities in her works. She won several awards, including the national first place in the “Concours Général des Lycées” and the "Best Soundtrack: at the indie music fest for her work on "Radio Moon".
After a master in composition at the San Francisco conservatory of music, she started working for different medias studios in Los Angeles, before joining the team at Emperia Sound and Music in 2019. With Them, she worked on AAA video games soundtrack. She scored feature films, included "The others, Gold" Premiered at Tribeca Festival, many award-winning short films and animation works.
She is dedicated to make the industry more diverse and inclusive by volunteering to organisations like Woman in Games, Alliance for Woman Composers, Troisième Autrice, game Audio France. She created the first game audio study program in Africa with GameUp Africa.
